Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing, reading, and thinking on a weekly basis in an informal setting.

Ofcourse she's blackmailing him what a crazy man ( clearly not my cup of tea) but I hope she set him str8 ..... Call her crazy but he deserve every part of it 😬😬
I don't think Angela is blackmailing Swenson. If she was blackmailing him she would've withheld the information and confronted Swenson and told him if he didn't get her novel published she was going to tell everything to the dean or the police. Instead, when Swenson told her that Len didn't want to read her novel she straight up went and told the dean about their affair. Not that it was Swenson's fault that Len didn't want to read it. Also, repeatedly Angela would mention that Swenson didn't call her. She was portraying possessive traits similar to how Dr. Rath in the movie was showing possessive traits when he demanded that Lola stopped selling postcards of her in provocative clothing. Now that I think about, I think there might've been a chance that Angela was actually falling for Swenson because if she really wanted her novel published she would've kept on threatening him instead of acting butt hurt over a phone call.

This is a good point, Andrea. But what do you think Angela's motivations are for reporting Swenson and then lying about the details?
