As we have to read pages 1-63 of Blue Angel, I started earlier and the first few pages that I've read were confusing to me because it talks a lot about beastiality. I thought the story was being told from Swenson's point of view but as I read it over, I noticed that he mentions "stories about humans having sex with animals". I'm assuming that the main topic of the story currently (for pages 1-7; I've only read 1-7 so far) will be stories about beastiality?
I don't want to be rude but what a weird and disgusting topic, this doesn't really bore me as much as it evokes a feeling of disgust from me.
Suresh, you might want to read a bit more carefully. Who, exactly, is telling these stories of bestiality? Is the author of this novel, France Prose, or is it a character in the novel? Then ask yourself, Why is Prose relating these "disgusting" stories for her readers?
