At the parent teachers conference the professor seems fascinated on the parents correlation to Angela and especially on how the father acts. While the conversations are going , he keeps in his mind how the father resembles Angela and if he is the biological father. Also sweanson , has this conflict if he should inform the parents on the personal relationship he has with Angela. I see this with the hesitation of asking personal questions about her boyfriend, the real father etc
