Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 102 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations before we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing, reading, and thinking on a weekly basis in an informal setting.

Doing the group check gave me some very useful feedback and showed me what I can improve on in my writing abilities. Having a second opinion from someone else always assists with writing because the person will probably see something different than you. Doing Group critique has supported me a lot to improve and further my skills helping me become the best of my capabilities. Having help is always a good thing so when it provides in front you why not make use it.
