During this scene we see the professor step way out of his comfort zone when he re-enters the theater to return Lola's pants/garments. Part of him knows he shouldn't be there and shouldn't have been there in the first place yet he is beginning to be attracted to the environment. He stops fighting the urge as much as he did the first time he went there and almost unconsciously listened to Lola tell him to sit down and stay. There is something about that environment that he is beginning to feel has been missing from his life.
