blue angel 3/11/19

Now that we are halfway into the book, I begin to feel a little sympathy for Swenson. He seems to me like hes just going through a midlife crisis that's causing him to make the wrong decisions. He's happily married to his wife who's not only a successful nurse but also an amazing cook. He seems to have a perfect life so why would he want to get involved with a troublesome girl that's half his age. The only thing that really makes sense is that he's going through his midlife crisis and he's beginning to feel bored of his perfect life. Only someone going through a mid-life crisis is willing to throw everything they have away. I feel sympathy for him because he's going to end up losing everything. I'm really looking foward to finishing up this book.

  1. Nice response, Wendy. I think you're exactly right that he seems to be going through some kind of crisis having to do w/ his age and his career.
